“Jenny consistently pushes the limits of her practice and seeks out new techniques and performative mindsets.” - Clinton Green, Shame File Music

Jenny, woman with short dark brown hair and black top, holding a microphone on a stand with two hands with an intense look on her face. Eyes are closed

Jenny’s work and thinking are rooted in her limitless curiosity of play, sound and connection. A practice of acceptance and care, and a rigorous approach to her body as communicator and sound maker bring Jenny into vastly contrasting performative spaces. She is a contemporary classical choral voice, a featured soloist in theatre productions, performer of avant-garde works, performer in electro-accoustic ensembles, performer in free jazz ensembles and is one of Naarm’s most sought after improvising musicians.

Jenny holds a masters of applied linguistics, a bachelor of jazz music and has recently completed post graduate studies in disability and inclusion. She is a lecturer in improvisation at the University of Melbourne and is currently co-composing vocal works for people who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
